La Segunda Celebrates 109 Years

Cuban Sandwich and Guava Turnover held up in front of a brick wall with a palmetto leaf

La Segunda is celebrating their 109th anniversary this month, July 18th. The 100+ year old brand has expanded from their original Ybor City location to four locations operating across the Tampa Bay area since their initial opening.

Originally founded by Juan Moré in 1915, La Segunda ownership has been passed down from generation to generation. It is now operated by Copeland Moré, 4th Generation Owner.

Famous for their dedication to authentic cuisine and local flair, La Segunda will celebrate their anniversary with special pricing on their iconic Cuban Sandwiches and Turnovers. On July 18th only, Cuban Sandwiches will be available for $7 (does not include pressed sandwiches) and all Turnovers (Guava, Guava with Cheese, and Apple) will be BOGO (Buy One, Get One Free). This promotion is available in-store only at the Ybor City, Kennedy, and St. Pete locations. The Seminole Heights location will be offering BOGO Turnovers only.  No modifications, no call ins. Quantities are limited to one per person.

All four La Segunda locations (Ybor City, Kennedy, Seminole Heights, and St. Pete) are open daily from 6:30am to 3pm.
